FIVE-DAY FIT & FIERCE CHALLENGE

Day 1: Lower Body Blast

Today’s workout is a lower body Tabata series. Tabata is a method of HIIT (high intensity interval training). Tabata involves 20 seconds of all out effort followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeat 20/10 circuit eight times, and then rest for one full minute. After one minutes rest period repeat cycle with the next exercise listed.

Equipment Needed:

  • Mat
  • Tabata Timer/Stop Watch (I use a free app on my phone for circuit work (ex. Timer or Interval Timer)

Workout

  • Speed Skaters
  • Jump Lunges (4 rounds per leg)
  • Burpee Squats
  • Star Jumps
  • In/Out Squat Jumps
